These fit true to size. I needed something I could walk through mud and water without any issues. I also needed steal toes. I work at an oil plant on the Gulf Coast. We get lots of rain here and these boots are my favorite. They look nice and are very very comfortable. I would definitely recommended these as I have tried others. Read more

I work where steel toe shoes are required. I’ve always had to wear steel toe shoes. I’m on my feet a lot and do a lot of walking. I’ve had many different styles and types of steel toed shoes/boots. These are the most comfortable pair I’ve owned. They’re not too heavy and they don’t smash your toes. I will be re purchasing these every time I need a new pair. Highly recommended. I did add a shoe insert due to standing on concrete all day. The insert that comes in this boot is removable, so if you put an insert in and your boot is too tight, take the original insert out. That makes it really nice. Read more

I ordered these boots for a field trip with the University of Pennsylvania Working Dog Center. Work boots were required for climbing on the rubble pile (to train search and rescue dogs). I only had short notice that I was going so I was afraid any new boots would lead to lots of blisters by the end of an eight hour day. However, these boots were quite comfortable right out of the box—with the caveat—ORDER BETTER LACES AT THE SAME TIME YOU ORDER THE BOOTS. Like many others have reported, the laces that come with the boots are terrible. I put the boots on as soon as they arrived so I could begin to break them in and a ten minute dog walk had me wondering if the boots would work. The standard laces are springy and don’t allow for getting the boots laced tightly. They were also beginning to fray at the end. I put the new laces on as soon as I got back home and that made all the difference in the world. Not only could I get the right tension on the laces, but I did a single tie on trip day and the laces stayed tied ALL DAY. I was running through thick brush video taping wilderness search dogs in training so reliable laces were important. I bought the—DELELE 2 Pair Round Wave Shape Non Slip Heavy Duty and Durable Outdoor Climbing Shoelaces Hiking Shoe Laces Shoestrings. After wearing the boots all day the ankles were totally broken in. They had been stiff, but not painful to start. The boots are NOT heavy and clunky. I had no problems with navigating rough terrain. I couldn’t be happier with the boots. They were affordable, especially since I won’t be wearing them day in and day out. They also come in half sizes. I took a chance and ordered my true size, 7.5, and they fit perfectly. The only concern I have is the leather has a “soft” finish and I fear they will get scratched up. Tramping through the brush did leave them roughed up, but not really bad. Read more

Purchased these to protect the feet while doing disaster recovery. Broke them in while doing work in Mexico Beach, boots are more comfortable than I expected for a boot with steel toe and shank. They worked out really well and protected my feet from all sorts of debris, nasty water, and heavy objects landing on them. Read more

Women’s steel toe boots are difficult to find. These are holding up great and the fit was about what I would expect – I ordered the same size I would wear in a Nike sneaker. I only wish that these boots had the cincher hardware pieces at the top of the laces, but I would still buy them again with the current design. Read more

As others have said, these don’t need to be broken in. They’re pretty comfortable. Zero blisters. Also, as others have pointed out, the laces could be better. The lace ends should be metal. I’ve had my boots for a month and the laces have come apart. Part of this problem is that they’re too long and I step on them. Mine have held up to water well (up to the laces). Read more

This is the first pair of women’s steel toes that I have found for under $100 that are actually comfortable. In fact, you wouldn’t know they’re steel toe when wearing them due to the amount of room around the toes (even with insoles). They only took about a week to break in, and are by far my most comfortable pair of footwear that I now own. I feel they’re incredibly well made for the price, and they have stood up to six inches of mud and puddles around the jobsite while still keeping my feet dry. With that being said, I feel the outer layer of the boot does wear easily, and I’m not sure how long they will retain their waterproof-ness. Even so, I will absolutely buy these boots again when this pair is ready to be replaced, thank you Caterpillar! Read more

Good fit, maybe a little long in the toe, but I wear a 9.5EE (wide) and the width is good with room for a thicker sock without discomfort. I don’t lace up the top eyelets for slightly better ankle flex, and I had a little initial soreness at the front bend from transitioning from low-cut hikers (definitely need taller socks with these), but I’ve had zero blistering or break-in issues. They’re not heavy at all for a work boot. Great in slushy New England weather, but they do get a bit sweaty by the end of the day due to the material. Read more
