I was excited to receive these shoes as I have not worn this style since I was in the 5th grade and am now 34. I couldn’t wait to open the box and relive my past……. when I did I noticed the tongue on the left shoe had the red Adidas label as it should… however, there was nothing on the tongue of the right shoe. There was an empty rectangular outline where the label should have been stitched on. I don’t know if there are real, or fake or what the deal is. I have to say that I am totally disappointed. I’m too busy to go through the hassle of sending them back. I’ll just wear them with as they are. ugh… Ridiculous. Read more

Recently purchased these for my five year old boy who HATES wearing shoes because they always hurt his feet. I’ve tried Chucks, Vans, off-brand and finally decided to give the Samba’s a try… They are SO easy to get on his foot (I’d literally struggle for 10-15 minutes with shoes going over the heel properly until these) and they stay tied throughout the day. They have also withstood two weeks of Kindergarten boy play and still look new! Not a single complaint from him since he’s been wearing these daily. They are true to size and even fit on wider feet and STILL no issues going on. Will definitely be buying again. Great purchase, great value and great price! Read more

The best attribute of the adidas Samba is that it is extremely durable. Much of that durability is linked to its 100% leather construction. Of particular note is the suede toe area, which bears the brunt of much soccer-related activity. The shoes that were delivered to me were not leather. They are mostly vinyl, with some sort of odd synthetic material in place of the toe. The supposed-to-be suede toe areas were cut to visibly different sizes on the right and left shoe. Further, the material that was used in place of suede proved to be extremely cheap. The shoe was worn in the rain once, whereupon the fake suede material promptly ripped. Read more

(update as at 4/16/2016) I was impressed with my previous purchases of this product. I bought smaller versions and they stood up fairly good which encouraged me to stick with the brand/model. However my most recent purchase has left me completely disappointed and frankly in shock. These shoes lasted literally less than three weeks!! That is no exaggeration three weeks!! For one, I noticed that the front started to scuff by the time my son came home from the first day of wearing but for the entire front of both shoes to get busted out after less than three weeks of regular wearing is something that I am struggling to understand. I can only assume that something very significant (and in a bad way) has changed in the manufacturing process but the bottom line is that I can no longer recommend these to anyone. These shoes should not be sold! (original review) I bought the size 2 which was too big. Nevertheless my 6 year old insisted on wearing them. They appear so sturdy that I decided to buy the size 1 as an immediate replacement and put the size 2 in storage until they can fit. At 6 years old my son is huge on fashion and has an eye for “nice” things… My son absolutely loves the style and never wants to take them off which is saying a lot for the shoe… I would recommend these shoes and will give a follow up review after he has worn them for a few months… Read more

We don’t play soccer. Sorry! But this is our second pair of sambas this year. I have an eight-year-old boy who has a wider forefoot. He cannot wear Nikes because they are too narrow so we tried adidas and they work great. They’re more forgiving and last longer. The leather towards the front of the shoe will start to wear but the construction overall is great. Boys are tough on their shoes regardless but the style and durability of the sambas are awesome. Plus they look cool 🤙🏼 Read more

adidas little kids samba classic – Like that it fits snugly as it should. My kid has average width feet and wears average thickness sports socks. Do not buy if your kid’s feet are even slightly chubby or a “little” wide. For comparison, he wears 10.5 (little kid) Nikes; and these adidas 9.5 (little kids) fit the same. Don’t like the rather stiff sole. We’ve been bending the sole manually with our hands. Might even ask our teen to run over these shoes with the car a few times just to soften them up. Like the black which doesn’t show dirt, and little guy gives a thumbs up. Read more

I really loved the style of these Adidas. The soles are great, slipping would practically be an impossibility. On top of that, the brown soles instead of the white are a lifesaver when your driveway isn’t poured concrete or asphalt. I really love the way these shoes look. They asked me to list what I like the least n can’t really think of anything other than, maybe, I should have ordered another pair for myself since these are my son’s for school. He loves them so much n we wear the same size so a second pair will be ordered soon for myself n I can’t wait. Read more

Bought these to be my son’s winter sneakers. Wanted something heavier than a mesh running shoe. They have done a good job, showing little wear after a few months of everyday wear on a five-year-old boy. He says they are “cool” and are comfortable enough that he wears them all day without complaint. He has always had wide feet, so we were glad to find a comfy shoe that we didn’t have to order in extra wide. I love that they go with pretty much any outfit. When he outgrows these, we will be buying another pair in the next size up! Read more
