I had never owned a pair of Sperry’s before these, so I was unsure how I’d like them. I’ve now been wearing them for nearly 2 months and I’m quite fond of them. Holding together well, not falling apart, and reasonably comfortable. But I do need to add that it took a few days to break them in, where the back heels really hurt my feet and caused blisters. But that stopped after a week or two. I also find the shoes to run quite large. I’m normally an 11, but the 11’s I ordered were massive on my feet. I exchanged them for a 10.5 and they are still a bit large. I think I could probably do with a 10. That’s pretty significant in terms of sizing. Read more

These shoes are a perfect fit for my husband who is a standard size 11.5. They also give great support with a very comfortable sole. My husband has a tendency to walk on the insides of his feet, has had 7 knee surgeries, and has virtually no arch. Finding shoes for him is quite a task. Not only are these shoes stylish, but they also provide great support and limit impact (especially considering this is a dress/casual shoe). Nice craftsmanship. Color is true to the photo. A perfect addition to any man’s wardrobe as you can dress them up or down. Overall, great shoe! Read more

These shoes are horribly uncomfortable. They rip into my ankles and cause my ankles to bleed. I wore them for the first time to the grocery store to grab just a couple things and by time I got back to my car, both my ankles were bleeding in 3 spots. The problem is, the shoe’s seem is sewed along the rim of the shoe, where your ankle is. That seem is very tough and unforgiving. It grabs right into my skin. You can see what I am talking about by looking at the product photos. All my other Sperry’s shoes have this seem rolled over the edge rather than meet at the edge of the rim like these shoes. I tried wearing bandaids in an attempt to break in the shoes, but the seem ripped through bandaids too. I am forced to return these. The design is a complete failure. I have owned many Sperry’s shoes before and none of them have been like this at all. Read more

Good looking shoes. Color is vibrant and stands out well. I have received many compliments on them. I live in South Florida, so wearing boat shoes is a very common practice year round. Don’t expect alot of support, like a modern running sneaker. The fit and comfort level is very similar to a canvas Chuck Taylor sneaker, if you can relate to my reference. Very good shoes for walking and casual wear. Met my expectations as I expect a good casual wear shoe abd not a performance sneaker. Read more

Having worn deck (boat) shoes all summertime long for every summer since my teens, I was thrilled to try out Sperry’s offering–since I can no longer get the cheaper (but will last for years and years, and survived tropical storms in the Keys where tromping through six-inches of water became necessary) Falls Creek brand–because they looked like a proper deck shoe. Once I tried them on, though, I was less than thrilled. They did not feel like a deck shoe should; the fit was too tight for the height and width of my foot, they had a strange elevated aspect to them, and it was awkward and somewhat painful to walk around in them. That was until I pulled out the stock insole to find that the heel was raised substantially and the front part of the insole was overly thick–making the overall thickness way too much. Once I replaced that painful sucker with a flat set of Odor Eaters, these fit great and now have the proper deck shoe feel: as if you are walking around on bare feet without having to walk around on bare feet. I now love them, and am using my own idea of a modified fishtail knot for the notoriously difficult to keep tied leather laces. The only reason these are not a full 5 stars is that ridiculously designed stock insole. The comfort in wearing a deck shoe comes from its state of flatness, not from some overly-designed insole. So do yourself a favor, and rip that sucker out. Read more

Didn’t really solve the problem with the miniature poodles in the office. Fun to discuss how this might with the other workers who can actually raise socialized dogs. But quite useless in practice with those that don’t. Similar problem with social economic ideals, I guess. The selfish ruin it for everyone. Just buy a heavy shovel. Get to use it twice. Read more

My husband does Not like to shop! Too bad since his feet are hard to fit. He has always liked Sperry Top Siders because of the boat shoe style. Soooo I took a chance with tse Shoes and just ordered them. THEY FIT! He tried them on and has been wearing them almost non stop! I’ve heard a few people comment on the Style and he tells them “And they are really comfortable “ really like them” Read more

Set up on common property line. Neighbor’s english bulldog barks at everything and nothing at all. It seemed to work the first day or two she’d hear bark, then pause, then bark. The next week she barked less. Now it seems like she’s not responding. She is also set off by us being outside or someone walking down the street. If a dog has anxiety or is an alert dog this device will not stop them from barking when they are triggered. Read more
