I have owned several pairs of Rockport shoes in the past. In fact, I purchased these to replace a pair that I have worn daily for well over a year that finally wore out. Every pair I’ve ever owned were 9.5, and they fit perfect. I got the same size with this model and they are HUGE. I could fit a full index finger and then some between my foot and the back of the shoe. This is really an issue of poor quality control. In today’s age of advanced technology, why can’t shoe companies get sizes correct? It’s just a matter or measuring the physical dimensions of the shoe, and applying those dimensions to a known shoe size chart. It aint rocket science. Anyway, I should have read the reviews before I purchased, but I just assumed since they were Rockports that they would be good. Read more

the little elastic webbing near the tongue of the shoe has already torn. The soles are already coming apart too. See uploaded image. Also the shoe was starting to hurt a bit on my right foot in certain spot. Read more

this is my second pair. The first pair last 2 years of incredible abuse. I’m over 250 pounds and I was a chef. I wore these 6 nights a week up to 12 hours a day. Sauce & hot water spilled on them regularly. I beat them up with constant back & forth motions, side to side motions, I think I played ping pong in them several times. After I sold the restaurant I became a plumber, and I wore them 6 days a week 12 hours a day of CONSTRUCTION. Carrying heavy tools from the car to the garage over and over again. O.k.? Giant amount of abuse, and the soles never came off. If the tops weren’t so beat up from 1 year of chef and 1 year of plumbing I could still wear them. I used to buy Dr. Scholl’s shoes and after 6 months the soles would start to come off and flap when I walk. These shoes are 2 years old and STILL good!!! I recommend these shoes to anyone. If you weigh less than me and you are not a plumber they are going to last even longer. They might last 10 years, maybe more. I feel I under-paid, honestly, Rockport should charge more. Is it possible to LOVE a shoe? Did I mention comfort? They are amazingly comfortable. Best shoe ever. Buy them. I almost want to say that if you take my advice and you aren’t happy I will personally refund you 🙂 Read more

First let me start by saying these shoes are a size or a size and a half larger than most other shoes made by Rockport or other manufacturers. For example, if you normally wear a 10, you’ll want to order a 9.5 or perhaps even smaller. The width of the shoe is good. Generally, since I have a larger foot, they felt pretty good. Next, let me explain I have a few pairs of shoes I rotate for daily use. After a little over a year, these shoes which I wore less than a 3rd of the time have soles that are separating. Additionally the stitched seams on the top are separating letting cool air and moisture on walks. The logos on the bottoms of the soles have fallen off. They used to pass as a nice looking shoe, but now it looks like I wear them to a sheet metal factory every day. I will not purchase this shoe again–and I may never trust Rockport again. These just were not up to the standards I’ve come to expect from Rockport. Read more

Very nice comfortable shoe. Like most reviewers they do run on the large size. The only other comment that I would make is the color is way off compared to the picture. The color is much more dull, lacking the redness that shows in the pics. Other than that, nice shoe! Read more

These shoes are great. I waited for a few months to wrote this review because I wanted to be sure. I’m the kind of guy that does his research before I buy anything that costs more than $10. Haha! 🤣 If you look at the photos I uploaded, they are of the shoes after nearly 4 months of daily wear, rain or shine. They are still comfortable, hold their shine, and as you can see, there is almost no wear on the tread. They are a nice casual dress shoe, and can hold up to a lot of stress, if you are on your feet a lot. I’m a teacher, so these shoes have seen their share of long hours of standing and pacing. Haha! Additionally, the non-slip aspect has saved my bacon on parking lot ice on more than one occasion. 😆 Read more

Love the shoe. Took 3 times to get right size though. Started with my usual size, 10. Way too big. Returned and got 9 1/2. Seemed to be the same as the 10. Returned and got 9. Perfect. Thanks Amazon for free returns. Read more

Can’t beat these shoes. When I’m in the office I tend to walk to a lot meeting. I have one of those step counters, and generally in an office day I get about 10,000 steps while I’m at work. My first pair of these held up for about 5 years with that level of use. That said, they run big. I’m typically a 10.5 wide. I ditched the wide for these and they fit great. Had to return my pair of 10.5 wides because they were a little too loose. Oddly, my pair before were 10.5 wide and fit great, so I’m guessing in those 5 years there was some shift in sizing. Either way, good looking shoe and very durable. Read more
