  1. Tacx sucks

For the three days I was able to wear these they were amazing. My dog then decided they were an amazing chew toy so these also get 5 stars as a dog toy. Read more

These days it seems that up to 20% of what I buy at Amazon is one of their own private brands. And I am okay with that. I’ve learned that if that put their name on something it’s going to be of good quality and a good value. These slippers are no exception. I think I’m the rare type of a guy who shops for his own slippers. That’s because I am picky about what I like. It seems that they think men only need slippers as a gift at Christmas so they start selling them in August and by Labor Day the entire world’s supply is gone until next year. So maybe the best thing about Amazon selling their own brand is that they should be available year-around. These are better made than average. The tag says they are real leather, with a faux fur lining. Two things that stand out are that the stitching is double reinforced and that the soles are thick rubber and securely bonded to the rest of the shoe. Unlike many offshore clothing items the fit of these is exactly what is labeled in U.S. sizes. A good pair of slippers is something no one can understand unless they are the one wearing them. It’s one of life’s pleasures to be able to kick your feet up and relax in front of a roaring fire, trusty canine nearby and morning newspaper in hand. Amazon got it right. Read more

I bought these slippers in my usual size. They were too small…no big deal. When I went to exchange for the correct size, they charged me a higher price for THE SAME ITEM and made me pay return postage. Not smart. Read more

Got a pair of these pairs on October 15th … not even a month ago … put one pair at the front and one at the back doors on racks … to avoid wearing shoes on our custom wood floors. Neither pair have been outside except to be on the decks. Take a look at the wear and tear of the Amazon Essential pair in the middle … both right sides have simply come apart. And the so-called weather proof sole on the right foot is already totally “worn. Hope they’ll take them back (and I’ll follow up. Read more

This is a good looking moccasin, well made, good around the house. But with a tough rubber sole, will also stand up to excursions outside the house. Only problem I have is getting the right fit. I usually take a men’s size 10 shoe, so ordered a size 10 for this moccasin. Turns out to be a little too tight for me, not enough toe room. Most likely a 10 1/2 would fit me perfectly, but half-sizes are not offered. Size 11 would probably be too large. With slip-on shoes (loafers) an over-size is easily a problem because without laces you can’t tighten it up to avoid ‘floppy shoe syndrome’. My hope is the furry lining will compress over time, resulting in a better fit. Read more

I wear a size 12 shoe but heard these run big so I got a size 11 and they fit perfectly. The color is not the same as the picture, actual color was much lighter, almost an ash or blonde. Nice padding, good stitching and decent sole. Paid $16.50 on black friday sale. Read more

I really love these slippers but almost returned them because of the wafer thin insoles. I was looking for a pair of slippers that can be worn as a daily shoe but I found this to be an unrealistic goal. Slippers just don’t have arch support, or real insoles. But I have found an excellent solution. Superfeet Moreno wool lined insoles are the perfect fit. It’s the same as their green insoles, but copper foam with silver plastic and a wool lining. They fit perfectly without needing a trim, simply remove the original insole, and work in the new one. I got size 10 slippers with the size E insoles and it’s like they’re made for each other. These slippers are very sharp looking with kakis and a flannel. Read more

It is great to find slippers in my size (14 Narrow)! I found a few, but most are too expensive. These are reasonably priced, and probably as comfortable as many others more costly. They are warm and look good on my feet. However! The grip on the bottom (meant to keep me from slipping) also keeps them from being comfortable when I stand. I had to put a gel-insert into each slipper to make them comfortable…and I still feel the soles somewhat. Are they worth the price? Yes, but beware. If you have ‘tender’ feet like mine, get a Dr. Scholl’s gel-insert when you order them. Otherwise you won’t walk easy. Read more
