I put a few miles on the standard size version of this shoe, actually received compliments for them. Yes, perhaps difficult to believe, they are apparently a controversial shoe among fashion enthusiasts (and some girlfriends)? You either have one that thinks they are hot…or don’t. My mind is less on fashion in general, I just want a comfortable casual shoe that I can slip on and off (in 1.5 seconds per the requirements of her majesties secret service). They work and look good enough, especially if they garner nicknames like “moon shoes” which I thoroughly enjoy. While the first version were ok, it was a sadly halfway awesome effort. First, I had to cut the elastic at the top so they would not be overtly tight, cutting into the top of my foot. Second, they were clearly too narrow, and looked this way to me and other people. Most normal human feet (especially the big and tall male variety) are just are not shaped like short low profile skis right? I mean, I hope, if your feet are like the standard version wanted, must be nice cross country in winter? Power on friend! Regardless, I could deal for the easily slip deployed comfort benefits. I admittedly have wide, tall, and long mutant feet that probably only 52% of the big and tall male populous have. I don’t have scientific cross section foot study data, but it seems common in the roughly 6’3″ to 6’7″ 215-50 style frames. There seems to be a lot of us out there when I last looked before quarantine. Fortunately, enter the Sketchers Expected 2.0-Arago Extra Wide “Relaxed” Fit. It’s for us BIG and TALL mutants that like this kind of footwear…almost like you read my mind and feet. With long lasting light active comfort, support, good traction, and most importantly: slip on/off deployment. Plus they even look better. Well done Sketchers, considering us apparently EXTRA HUGE (By the way, you can go even a little wider and stretchy on the elastic bands if you consider some of us wear socks too, it’s all good) feet in this demographic. This pair is the second purchase of that shoe. My first ones I got at academy (paid more). Couldn’t pass up the great price. The fit and comfort are great as well. Read more

Sloppy fit. Not the standard medium width. Heel protrudes back too far. I’ve tripped twice going down stairs. I kept them because I needed them for a trip. Read more

Fits well, seems to be well made so far and it’s comfortable, just a little harder to match with as it’s textured cloth but it’s in between casual and too casual, great for shorts in the summer but maybe not jeans. Read more
