I am very disappointed with this item. This kind of fraud makes me very angry. I paid $65 for a trash. They sell it as sketchers official product although you pay the same amount. Moreover the size is too small. I have seen and bought skechers shoes before and i know the quality of official product, sadly this is not. Read more

Review is for the Sketchers men’s Porter brown leather slide deck shoes. They are very light weight so they have almost zero support. Despite touting a “cooling” insole, they are uncomfortably hot and results in sweaty feet, now sliding around in the shoes. The fit was perfect and they are comfortable, if you are planning to wear them recliner surfing. However I bought them as boat shoes and for that purpose, they are dangerous. Between sweat and spray, the feet slip around in the shoes. There is simply no support, and I am more than a little irritated they carefully matched the Naugahyde to the small bit of leather on the very top, implying the top was all leather, like the label inside says. I would not recommend this shoe and will stay away from this manufacturer in the future. Read more

This is the 2nd pair of Porter Vamen Slip-ons that I have ordered. According to a Brannock Device, a foot measuring tool that’s an industry standard, I measure for a size 12. I ordered a size 12 and they were absolutely huge. I returned them and ordered two sizes down to 11. They arrived yesterday as I was about to go out. I was so anxious for the shoes after long shipping delays that I put them on without paying attention to how poorly they fit and left the house. Shame on me. I knew right away they were also very large but didn’t realize how poorly constructed they were. I wasn’t gone long before they were so frustrating to wear, almost falling off my feet, that I went home to put on different shoes. Both shoes are excessively wide. There’s enough room for my fat finger to fit between the shoe and the top of my foot. The left shoe is really bad with a huge amount of space between the shoe and top of my foot, about 3/4″. The entire upper of the right shoe was sewn on crooked and that shoe also has way too much room to the top of my foot. The photo was taken with my feet moved forward so that they touch the shoe upper. You can see how different they are from one another. And remember, these are 2 sizes smaller than I measure for. The next photo was with my foot where it should rest on the insole, showing how much extra space over the instep there is. I have three other pairs of Skecher’s, all size 12, and all fit great and are comfortable. Shame on me for not taking time to pay attention to these Vamen Slip-Ons before wearing them, but shame on Skechers for such poor quality with this style ~ Read more

I literally have 6 pair of Skechers shoes (lace-on types)in this same size, and they all fit perfectly. But these fall away from my heel, due to design or sizing. I can use them as slippers, in the house only, but they will not work as loafers. Perhaps a smaller size might have been better, but a brick and mortar show room has advantages. Never again by mail order! Read more

These shoes look good and are easy to wear and walk in. Being they come in whole sizes one size smaller would be too small. Wearing socks fixes any slight size issue. They’re very comfortable and my husband loves them. I love the way they look on him. Read more

There’s a reason I don’t buy sneakers with white rubber along the side where the rubber meets the material, gets soiled too easily. It’s not a typical loafer, the heel has this half inch or so area around the heel that serves no purpose really, it’s too small to help keep the shoe on. The only thing it does is roll over under you heel and that can be uncomfortable. The fit is ok and the only problem I find is with the heel. Material is probably fake vinyl of some imported variety. Shoes looks awesome, someone should’a thought of these sooner. No brainer for ocean active peeps (casual/lazy-active). I got 2 pairs for myself & family – both fit loosely, which is ok. They’ve got a substantial arch support as well – seems to be softening up with wear. Only had ’em a few days but appear to be well made. Dunno if they’re considered boat shoes but soles are great on wet deck + leather upper tolerates washing down the boat fairly well. We love them! Read more

I adore these. I need to be able to slip off my shoes for work (I am a real estate photographer). It is important that I can put them on and take them off without bending over (unusually have photo gear around my neck). I don’t know why there aren’t more manufacturers making this type of show anymore. Anyway, I’m glad I was able to get a pair of these. Read more
