I am 5’11”, 275#. I walk 5-6 miles a day. Usually 2 miles early in the morning, then 4 miles before sunset. ood walking shoes are a must for me. Recently, my knees and heels have been really hurting from this, so I researched and found these max cushion Sketchers. I have had them two days and have walked 7 miles so far. My knees and heels were sore to begin with, but after my first walk, did not feel any worse. After my third walk, my knees and heels did not hurt….at all. I am finding this hard to believe, but they feel like I am walking on pillows, so I guess it should not surprise me. Great support. No pain. Walking farther faster. They are amazing so far and I am optimistic that they will continue to be. Read more

These shoes have significantly more cushioning along the soles than most shoes & that’s why I chose to keep them even though the fit wasn’t perfect for my feet. I bought these shoes for specifically for my job. I work standing on concrete slab floors 40 hours a week. It took about a week to break in these shoes before they stopped hurting the stops of both of my feet. At first, they fit very tightly across the top of both of my feet, right where the shoe laces end & the part of the shoe that covers my toes begins (right across where my toe “knuckles” are). My feet are not usually thick or large & I’ve never had this problem with any other shoe, so I’m not sure why these shoes are made to be so tight in that area. I stuffed the toe end of each shoe every night that first week in order to stretch out that part of the shoes so they didn’t fit so tightly. This eventually worked & now the shoes fit very well. This tightness is something to keep in mind if you want to insert your own insole, as the insole can’t be very thick in this area. After stretching out the shoes & adding my own insole, I am very happy with the performance of these shoes. Read more

The pair I got were soiled. The soles had stained spots and a blatant dark patch of stuff. They also smelled a bit. This was within the current COVID-19 event that I got sent used shoes. And for some reason cannot post pictures. Read more

I like that it’s EXTRA WIDE width so i can add my Dr Scholl’s insole on top of the non-removable goga mat insoles. The shoes itself is very comfortable even without my Dr Scholl’s but it’s too wide for my feet if i don’t add them on. I work on concrete floors so this will give my feet some comfort and relieve the pain. It’s not real leather, it’s soft too but it’s acceptable for my job requirement so that’s fine. Hopefully this will last. Read more

OK, I LOVE Skechers – usually. But I hate these, the rubber is stiff and noisy. When you walk on a hard surface you can hear clack clack clack, they are noisy and hard! Also the sides are very stiff and not comfortable at all, they dig into the sides of my feet. Now if you want the most comfortable, quiet squishy shoe then check these out: Skechers Men’s Equalizer 2.0 True Balance Sneaker The only problem is they only come in black! These would be a huge hit in my opinion if they would add more colors. Read more

They say they are Max cushioning, and they are, but I discovered that I prefer walking shoes with a more firm support. They are as advertised, the soft cushioning sounded comfortable so I bought them, turns out it doesn’t work for me. I wear them around home and they are fine but when I go walking I wear my firm shoes. Read more
