I developed plantar fasciitis after chasing my runaway kid. She was on a bike, on a trail, and headed towards a road. I hadn’t run in 7 years due to back issues and the sprint about broke my paper machete body. We never should have been at that trail, it’s very hard to keep track of kids there, there’s ton of barbed wire fencing, it’s too crowded, etc, but my wife demanded we go there, and she’s way scarier than foot problems, so we went. Anyways, the shoes. With pf you need shoes on, all of the time. Bare feet are murder. I’ve been wearing these all over the house as well as out and about. They enabled me to walk 40 miles one busy week. I have another pair of shoes with $250 orthotics in them, and these shoes won. At first I tried putting my fancy orthotics in these, but the insole that comes with them is very thick. Swapping out insoles left the shoe too loose and doubling up insoles was way too tight. So expect issues if you want to use different insoles. In the end I’m happy with them as is. On my extremely annoying plantar fasciitis journey, along with ice, rollers, and rest, these shoes are a critical product for me. Read more

I bought these shoe for my husband who has a dropped arch on his right foot. He works at the Wal-mart Distribution Center so he is on concrete all day long. His feet really bother him and we have bought so many shoes that just don’t work! He recently found out he has neuropathy and the Doctor recommended Hoka Shoes but the price is crazy so we thought we would try the Skechers Arch fit and I’m so glad we did. Mike has not complained about his feet in several days. I even went back and bought him another pair from Amazon so he’s not wearing the same the shoes everyday at work. It seems to be working right now! Read more

These are the most comfortable, supportive shoes I’ve ever worn. I walk a lot and have used expensive, custom arch support insoles in the past. I was hesitant to order these without trying them on, but they are true to size and more than that, they provide the same arch support that the custom inserts did at a fraction of the cost. I normally don’t write product reviews, but I felt this was important to those of us with “flat feet”. These are good shoes that have great arch support. Read more

True arch support was found wanting. I have high arches and need additional bracing for the arch. Skechers employs a soft cushioned heel was allows the heel to sink in a bit more and may transfer some assistance to the arch. A fairly comfortable shoe for sure but not perfect. Also, a very thin tongue which transfers lace discomfort to the top of the foot. Read more

This is honestly one of the best pairs of Skechers I have owned. The size is true, and the shoe appears to be well-built. I fully expected to put them through a break-in period, instead, no break-in was needed. My pair fit perfectly out of the box. The emphasis upon the fit of the arch, coupled with the overall lightness of the shoe itself makes this a favorite among my soft-soled shoes. After wearing them for a couple of weeks, I think they are going to last for more than one season. However, this is not the shoe you would want for hiking, mowing the grass, or any other activity where a stiffer sole and upper are needed. These are shoes to wear when you are shopping, driving, flying, going out to a casual restaurant, and other such pursuits. The ‘GOwalk Arch Fit Idyllic Sneaker’ is worth the money in my opinion. I have hesitancy in recommending them. Read more

All the commercials I’ve seen for this shoe tout it as having archfit which in my mind means there’s some sort of raised area inside the shoe where your arch would hit. That is not the case with this shoe. It is just as flat on the inside as a regular normal pair of shoes. I had to put my own vionic insert into the shoe on top of the existing insert to get any sort of lift to my Arch. These shoes are not worth the $65 that I was charged and I am returning them I can pay $35 for a pair of Skechers and get the same result. When will companies stop lying about their products? First of all they’re using Brooke Burns as their spokesperson for the shoe she weighs about 12 lb soaking wet and it’s hard to believe that she has any sort of foot issues whatsoever not having any weight on her body at all. It would be much more believable if you used a woman of my size 6 ft tall approximately 300 lb to sell a shoe that is supposed to provide arch support. Save your money just order a regular pair of Skechers that will run you about half the price that these bogus shoes will run you on top of it they’re really not attractive on the foot at all they have no Style they almost look like one of those ugly pairs of orthotic shoes that really old people wear. Very disappointed these sneakers were not cheap and offered little to no foot support. Arch support is non existent they are soft and very spongy feeling. The soles lasted me on 3months because of the soft rubber. I don’t recommend if your looking for support. They are probably good for short errands but not standing and walking long periods of times and distances. Read more

I can’t get over how light these Skechers are in weight. I have another pair of Skechers and they feel like they weigh 10lbs more than these. I put the new ones on and for first 3 days I’d marvel at how light they were. Also arch fit is good support although first day or two you feel like you’re facing downhill but you get used to that. A very good buy ands sharp looking also. Read more
