I’m an old fat guy, and my canine pal and I go to the park and walk around the lake every morning. I’ve had several Skechers Slip-Ons before, and, in the past, they required a few days of break-in before they were comfortable enough for our morning walk. I wore these on our morning walk the day after I received them and every day thereafter. They fit perfectly and .were comfortable right out of the box. They are also more stylish than pairs I’ve had in the past. These are nice looking shoes. I really like them. Read more

Update after a couple months, the elastic is already coming apart at the top. i work a desk job, so i wear these from where i park to my desk, and the occasional trip to the store. i dont wear them during yard work or anything that causes abnormal wear, but the elastic is already breaking. i even use a shoe horn to slip them on so that i dont stretch the leather much. quality not as expected. if they cant survive a desk job thats pretty weak. old section of review: fits good. feels good. probably wont be able to polish them well given the non leather components, but thats obvious from looking at them. benefits from a shoe horn because you cant easily step into them without having to use your hand or a shoe horn or else you will pinch the tongue down or heel in. They’re comfortable, they look nice, and they fit well… for about a week before they fall apart. The problem is these shoes are held together by thin fabric, and it tears. I haven’t worn these shoes more than 20 times and they’re already garbage. I can’t understand all these good reviews. I guess I could have gotten a pair from a bad batch but that wouldn’t change the fact that THESE SHOES ARE HELD TOGETHER BY THIN FABRIC, WHICH TEARS! If you’re like me and you bought these because you wanted to save that $15 or so that you’d pay for good leather loafers. Don’t do it. Buy quality, not these. Read more

Other than the shoes fit being a little large they seemed to be ok for the first 2 months or so. the I noticed the outer seam of the right shoe (located by the middle of the tongue) started to come apart. And within a few days I had a hole approximately 1 inch in diameter. For this to occur, the shoe had to have been defective. Read more

I’ve bought these shoes at the mall before and really liked them. The only problem I had this time around is that the shoes came with scuff marks on them and the leather seems to be of poorer quality. They don’t look like they are used or have been worn, but the scuff marks are pretty noticeable. The leather also seems old and dry in some places. The pair I bought at the mall were in perfect condition. Read more

Very very poor quality. I bought these for my husband last year and they came with a scuff on them. He liked them though and wore them for 6 months and they ripped on the side on both shoes. I bought him another pair this March 2018 and guess what these ones ripped even faster. In April the elastic part on one shoe ripped and he stopped wearing them. He wore them only 3 times a week when he went to work. Worst quality shoes he’s ever had. Read more

I think no-arch support would be an overstatement for these shoes. insole is flat, completely flat. There is memory foam thin layer, but it is good for nothing. I am 6’1” 225lbs, not exactly overpronate or underpronate but my feet need support since I wear these to work all day. Insole is weakly glued, you can actually remove the insoles. I changed them with powerstep insoles, fits perfectly. Now it is much better, I can wear them all day. Otherwise, it looks really good. leather is comfortable. You may also want to use a shoe horn to put these shoes on to protect the shoe. Heel is a bit stiff which is a good thing, it stays securely on your foot. but shoe horn may be needed. Read more

These fit exactly as I expected and hoped. They are comfortable and a nice looking casual or casual dress shoe. I plan on wearing mine a lot, even in my boat. The right shoe does fit a lot tighter on my heel than the left. I’m sorry to say I ended up returning mine. Only wore them just a little in the house. The right I was afraid was just too tight on my right heel, my wife was. I actually need to have these shoe companies to sell two different sizes in one pair. That way I could get one a half size bigger. Always have that problem unless I buy my shoes to where the one fits and the other is a little too big. I loved the shoes though. For the price I wanted to keep but my wife kept telling me not to wear them. Rather find a different shoe than argue about my shoes. First pair of loafers I’ve found in years that I liked. Should have kept them. Read more
