Vionics fill my closet as since knee replacement they are the shoes that give me the most support and help with my overpronation of my ankles. Recently I have ordered 4 pair of Vionics in my usual size 9.5 M. Three pair did not remotely fit me. This being one of them. Something has definitely happened to Vionics but I am unsure what. This shoe was well-made and finished similar to a “loafer” style from the 50’s and 60’s. I ordered the black suede. Being solid black took away from the “loafer” look as it appeared a solid black shoe. The “penny” part of the shoe was really not very visible. None the less, I liked the shoe. The toe was very pointed for a Vionic shoe. I do not recall one this pointed and none of the ones I own are made in this style. So far none of these things would hinder my liking the shoe. Then I tried it on… so disappointed. First, it was too short I think due to the pointed toe. It was too wide at the heel and slipped like a flip flop when trying to walk. It was very narrow across the top of the foot but yet it was bulging on the sides showing the side of the foot bone. While the removeable footbed offered enough arch support I didn’t feel there was any support as far as the overpronation. Perhaps I am expecting too much? I don’t think so. I have about 30 pairs of Vionics all of which fit ideally for me. I own sandals, sneakers, leather walking shoes and regular shoes from Vionic. None of them cost the $139 like this pair. So, for me, for $139 I expect the shoe to be exceptional. This one didn’t even make “average”. Returning now. Read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE I am recovering from foot surgery & I needed to find some business casual shoes that are comfortable & have arch support. Found these online took the risk of ordering them & the payoff was amazing. Feels like I’m walking on air, they are the most comfortable shoe I have found, plus they’re super stylish. I have done a lot of shoe shopping online and these are the ones that have been most true to size. Plus there is a high arch to provide support. BUY THEM!!!! Read more

I bought the because I had bought Vionic flip flops that are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I own but cannot wear them to work, so searched for loafer. Is a nice looking shoe, gets/ looks dirty very easy, with suede finish, and is not nearly as good as flip flop. But, it’s GOOD. Feet do not hurt at the end of a day of standing. Fit is just slightly large, I wear 7 1/2-8, ordered 8 and feels a little loose. Read more

Every pair of Vionic shoes I purchase is a 6M and fits perfectly. These are sized like a narrow shoe. Disappointing, as they are very cute! Read more

I really wish Vionic would standardize their sizes across all designs of shoes! I’ve been able to fit into an 8 in one version of their athletic shoe, 8.5 in another and 9 in a pair of booties (but I wanted to be able to wear thick socks with them.) I ultimately sent these back because I would’ve had to wear thicker socks and I really wanted a nice loafer I could wear to work with my dress pants and no socks. I was also afraid that my heel was going to get chewed up by the stitching on the back of the shoe. Shame, because I need a comfy pair of shoes for spring & summer. Read more

Vionic shoes are now almost the only shoes I wear. I have flip flops. I replaced a pair of sandals I wore out. I also have sneakers, high heal ankle boots and loafers in a different style than these. The Waverly comes in unfortunate colors that don’t go with my wardrobe. This is such a great style and fit for my extra high arches. Please add more conservative colors to the mix for this style. Read more

Keepers. Fit is comfortable and true to size. Great arch support. I can walk all day in these shoes with no back or leg pain later. Highly recommend. Vionics should be in your closet! Read more
