If you have ever purchased Vionic shoes before, then you know that you’ll either love or hate them. For some reason, even though many of us love the brand, the maker simply refuses to be consistent with their product overall. I will say that I love the support of the sandals over the shoes. However, these shoes tick every box for me. I have wide feet, so I ordered the size 9 in the C/D, and these work for me. I usually have issues with the Vionic shoes around the (1) toe box, and (2) the top of the foot. The toe box isn’t large, but I can easily and freely wiggle my toes…so I’m happy. The top of the foot isn’t “squashed” by the flatness at the top of the shoe, so again, I’m very happy and satisfied. Now, for the reason I’ll more than likely buy these shoes again?? The heel. For those of us that plod along in life, smashing our heels into the ground as we walk, these are a dream. I put them on yesterday, and walked for miles…with these straight out of the box. They are so springy it’s nuts. Such a joy to finally find a sporty shoe to wander around in. And the arch support, although not as great as the legendary Vionic sandals, is actually pretty good. Other reviewers noted that they bought the black pair of these shoes and they weren’t solid black needn’t fear here: my shoes came in a solid black. Overall, a great find…and I will order more once these wear out. Read more

Do not wear these shoes without socks! I am allergic to latex. The socks I had did not cover the inside label which must be latex. After a few hours at Disneyworld my feet were bleeding where the labels were. Photo is one week later when healing has started. Read more

“Burns” on top of feet from label! Do not buy! As previously stated in another review, I received burns on the top of my feet for the label. I am not officially diagnosed with any allergies but there must be something in them that causes burns. BEWARE! Read more

I am really disappointed with these shoes. Had high expectations given other Vionic Orthaheel shoes I’ve worn. These have little arch support to speak of. They are okay slip on muck-about shoes, but you can get those for a 1/4 of the price. If you have high arches or need good support due to fallen arches or plantar – don’t waste your money on these. These are probably the most comfortable Vionic that I own, and I own (and have tried on) MANY pairs of Vionics. As a science teacher walking on cement floors all day, it is amazing to be able to say that my feet DO NOT HURT at the end of the day when I’m wearing these! I don’t know what particular magic this style is made of, but these are the best! I imagine they’d be great for nurses as well. Read more

The Vionic shoes were recommended by my physician as supportive shoes for my plantar fasciitis. Because most of the Vionics are extremely expensive, I decided to try these more reasonably priced shoe for my first pair. I am still ‘breaking them in’–wearing them 2-3 hours each day. I would like a little bit more ‘toe room’–they run just a little short, but if I returned them for a size 7 I am sure that would be too big. They look like a more expensive shoe with slacks and jeans. They even look good with shorts and capris. My physical therapist was impressed with the look of the shoe and the support it is providing. I have a narrow foot and these fit very well. If your foot is wide, I would not recommend them for you. I am very impressed with the arch support of these shoes. I really hope that they will help me overcome this plantar fasciitis. Only time will tell. Read more

I wore these shoes on my trip to Italy as I was doing a lot of site seeing. They’re very comfortable and I love how you can remove the insoles. Unfortunately it rained a lot during my trip, so it helped that I was able to remove the insole to wash it. The shoes were quick to dry (with the help of a hairdryer) as well since you were able to dry the insoles separately. I ordered the 7 wide pair. I should’ve gone 1/2 down as I thought the 7 wide was just a smidge too long. My foot measures about 22 cm long and almost 9 cm at the widest point. In terms of the width, I felt the shoe was wide enough and didn’t irritate my bunion through hours of walking on cobblestone. I highly recommend this shoe and will look into purchasing more shoes from this brand in the future. Read more
