We love the fit of See Kai Run shoes. I’ve purchased the Stevie style in the past and these were a favorite shoe for my son. Unfortunately, this latest pair hasn’t even lasted 4 months. He’s almost worn completely through the toes. The rubber is so thin in places, you can see the fabric underneath. The Velcro strap has also been worn down. They look pretty beat up, sad to say. Oddly, though, the sole of the shoe looks brand new. I’m really disappointed these shoes couldn’t last until he outgrew them and I had to get him a new pair of shoes in his current size. *I purchased this product with my own money and my review reflects my honest and unbiased opinion. I love the design of See Kai Run shoes – the wide toe box, no raised heel, and flexible sole. But the white elastic straps that look like shoelaces are not anchored securely. On this shoe, the lace came detached after only 1 month of use. The kicker is that I already replaced these shoes once because the same thing happened after only two weeks the first time. But I can’t return or exchange these because it’s been just over a month. This could be a great shoe if they fix this problem. Until then, a broken shoe is useless. One photo shows how we have rigged the broken lace so the shoe is still somewhat functional. The other photo shows the other shoe which is still attached by the single line of stitching. It needs better-reinforced stitching. Read more

I love the way these shoes fit my son, and they were soooo cute and easy to get on. Unfortunately, both pairs I purchased fell apart- literally the shoe detached where the upper met the sole. They have a great product design in terms of shape, look and ease of toddler-young kid handling, but they need to seriously look at the workmanship. There is a flaw in how the shoes are put together. For $45, I’m not expecting miracles, but I am expecting a shoe that holds up better than ones at discount stores. Read more

This is our 3rd pair for my now 3 old boy , he will only wear these or crocs. He loves the red in the See Kai Run, the fact he will only wear crocs or these See Kai Run should tell you everything about the comfort and fit. I really like the old school style ,these even look like lace ups .- I’m not big on Velcro ,but the one strap enables him to take them off and put them on by himself which he likes. I’ve had to wash them a few times ,I throw them in the washer ,cold water, normal cycle and let them air dry, they do fade a tiny bit ,but still look great. They also sell a “basic” See Kai Run that looks very similar (Target is now selling them) they’re okay for play ,almost half the price of these ,but not at all the same sturdy quality. I give this pair 👍👍 and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Read more

I can’t believe I paid $45 for a pair of baby shoes, *BUT*, I bought a pair that’s gender neutral should they eventually get passed onto a sibling. That’s how I justified this purchase. Great fit. Wish they sold the half sizes on Amazon. I would have preferred the 3.5, but the 3 has been just fine. Read more

These are the low top version of my son’s favorite pair of sneakers. He ADORES them! I have a feeling the reason he likes these and the See Kai Run Boys’ Dane high top Sneakers he has, is because the toe area is extra roomy. He seems to notice and complain every time he puts on shoes that touch or bind in the end of foot/toe area. Perhaps that is why his natural state is usually bare-footed whenever possible. When that is not possible, these and the high tops I mentioned are the only ones he wants to wear. Read more

Way too big! I measured my son’s foot based on their size chart and his foot went to line 8 so I ordered size 8. When I got them they measure up to size 13.5. That’s an insane discrepancy! I don’t understand it. While he can grow in to them, that defeats the point of him needing shoes right now. Now I don’t even know what size to get since the sizing is clearly inaccurate. Read more

I wanted sneakers with a flexible sole that my son could put on himself. He loves red, and he loves these. He can put them on and remove them himself, the sole is flexible, the toe box protects his toes and provides enough wiggle room–all around great. The only downside is that they have faded a bit with use. I didn’t really notice that, though, until we ordered a new pair of these exact same sneakers a size up because we love them so much, and they were much more red than the ones he has been wearing every day for the past six months!
