The first pair of shoes I purchased were awesome. The second pair were equally amazing. I was expecting no less when I purchased these. My expectations were they would be comfortable right out of the box like my first two pairs. Whew, was I wrong. Within minutes of walking in these the plantar fasciitis that was remedied by my original pair of these shoes was back. Then came the shooting pain in my legs. Thinking that these just needed a break in period, I wore them for a full ten hour shift at work. By the sixth hour I was in so much pain I had to switch back to my old second pair. It took 3 more days before the plantar fasciitis resolved and another few days for the pain in my legs to subside. So they’ve sat, unused until four days ago. I had some intense on-my-feet work to do and thought I’d give them one last try. Initially the result was the same. Plantar fasciitis flare but, the leg pain was only mild. I was about to give up on them until I noticed they began to finally break in. Now, they are just so so compared to my first two purchases. While I am thankful that they are finally workable, the amount of out of the box pain I suffered from these was unreasonable. Add to that the amount of physical labor I had to undertake just to make them ok just makes these shoes not worth the purchase. I wanted to give them a better review, but one star is more than generous considering how awful my experience with these have been. Read more

I have a Plantar Fasciitis and I bought this pair of Orthofeet. Here is my feedback after one week of wear and 10 miles of walking (regular and fast walk) Things that I don’t like about this shoes 1) It looks like an old man shoes (boat shape/rectangular shape) 2) The Insoles doesn’t fully cover the arch of my feet, I get a much better support with Superfeet insoles 3) The color of the shoes (black with white lines doesn’t really work for the office). I wish it would come in all black 4) For the price, I would not recommend it. 5) Once you try this shoes unfortunately you can not return it and for you to really find out if this shoes is worth a purchase or not, unfortunately you have to really wear it and walk for couple of miles. What I recommend is to by a Superfeet insoles and then buy any shoes you like (better looking shoes) and you will have a more comfortable shoes and better support for your feet. In my case, I ended up paying $53 for Copper Superfeet and then bought a nice walking shoes and ended up with the same price I paid for this shoes. I would most likely not buy this product line again. Read more

I was hoping for that “most comfortable shoe ever” type feeling.. but after a few months now.. still have not gotten it. My feel still hurt…. And yes I have been to a podiatrist. In fact they feel worse! Bought these shoes as I have sciatica flare ups and they were recommended.. very disappointed! Feet still hurt and some days are worse… I’d say not worth the $120 I spent. I hate giving bad reviews but this one seems to need it because for what it’s claiming to me is not accurate at all I’ve worn and tried almost every brand from low end to the very top end while also trying multiple styles in each brand trying to find a good lightweight supportive shoe for my wide foot and these are wide but only at the toe end while the sides seem narrower then most of the name brands stander size shoes and the comfort level is in no way even close to any of the name brand shoes at this price point I’ve had $30-$50 name brand athletic shoes that are so much more comfortable and way lighter in weight and with a lot more support for any arch issues or planters fasciitis these shoes just don’t justify the price tag at all maybe at half this price it could be ok but even then I still wouldn’t wait my money unfortunately. I’m not sure if maybe I received a bad pair or maybe they are defective and missed by quality control but never the less I am very displeased with this purchase and it’s claims. Read more

I didn’t care what kind of shoe i needed to get relief from the extremely painful plantars faciatus in my left heel. I have had this problem on and off for years. I bought the Orthofeet sandals and tried them first. The relief was immediate. I sat right down and ordered sneakers and a pair of shoes. I’m considering buying another pair. Read more
