    1. Always a Mom

I’ve said this once and I will say it a million times. The Mishansha shoes are my absolute fave for kids!!! They are durable and have that rubber sole that has great traction and actually fits their feet correctly. They are comfortable and easy to put on and take off. They look sporty and feel sporty. These ones have a higher ankle and protect my two year old from sprained ankles. He jumps and runs so much and we are in the outdoors often. They keep his feet dry and he is able to run without slipping or hurting his ankles. Great quality and I would recommend these to all. We have a few different styles. My 7 and 10 year sons also have a pair of shoes from this store! So glad I found it.Read more

These are perfect for my 6yo…Re: SizeTrue to size. I debated sizing up so she could wear them longer, but per REÍ, etc., hiking boots should fit snug to prevent the feet from sliding and causing blisters, etc. So, we went with her current sneaker size and these shoes are pretty much exactly the same size.My daughter picked the super girly colors of course and loved them!Re: price, etc.We also debated getting her the more expensive Merrells, since we do moderate hikes about 3-4 times a month, but decided on these given they are considerably cheaper…and since we know she’ll outgrow them. We’re in SoCal, so don’t really need “waterproof” boots, and haven’t tested that yet…Review post first use:They are lightweight, but sturdy and my daughter said comfortable (even on her first use). We did a moderate hike with lots of loose dirt and rocks, including some steep sections- my daughter did great in them! Previously she’d used her Nike’s, which caused her to slip and slide all over the place- needing more assistance on hard sections of trails, these boots absolutely helped! She did very well and had zero complaints at the end of the hike. They also cleaned up nicely.Summary- worth it for a little explorer! Good price for a kids boot, especially if on a budget. Get the kid’s current shoe size.Read more

We have struggled for 5 years to find a shoe that works with my 7 y/o son’s AFO. He has wide feet to begin with and also needs a deep shoe to allow for wedges to be inserted into the heel of the shoe. So far we were only able to use new balance but with his newest AFO he needed an even deeper shoe, like a high top. We found a special orthopedic pair that worked but they were such a pain to get on and were not very fashionable to say the least. We discovered on a fluke that this shoe works! And the Velcro is even long enough that the shoe can close without any modifications. They are so cheap compared to what we usually have to buy that we bought 2 pairs, one to play and get dirty and one to keep clean.Read more

I bought these hiking boots for my 5 year old daughter. They were perfect for hiking up and down rocky hills. She tends to fall and slip in regular tennis shoes and with the grip on these she made it the whole way without falling once. I really like that the shoes don’t have to be tied and the Velcro strap keeps the ankle secure.Read more

Like! My 5 year old toddler needed running shoes. She does not like rock in her shoes so I needed to find ones that went to the ankle. And something that the laces didn’t come undone where she can just go and not worry about it. She has ran and jumped and got these wet. These are great. She can put them on herself. She needed help at first bc they were new and needed to be broken in a few times with the straps. But that was it. I’d recommend these.Read more

Great winter shoe for kids! Not snowy enough for boots but too cold for regular shoes? These fulfill that that need. And if you’ve ever tried to put a kid in or out of a grocery cart in boots, you understand the pain, and these shoes help with that too. Haha. They run true to size and are super easy to get on. Warm and waterproof. Nice wide toe box that all kids should wear on developing feet. Our daughter never hesitates to say if something is uncomfortable and she keeps telling us how great these feel!!Read more

I’m really impressed with these. My child loves them and says they fit comfortably. She normally wears a size 12 or 13 depending on the brand. We ordered a 12.5 and they fit great. They have great traction for hikes, slippery and uneven terrain or ice/snow. They appear to support her feet and around her ankles well. We have only had them a couple weeks but she always looks forward to wearing them. Hoping they will be durable. So far, they seem to be of high quality.Read more

I got these for my four-year-old when we went on a camping trip to Yosemite because I didn’t want her wearing her normal tennis shoes. I have to say that I was extremely satisfied with these shoes as my daughter walked long hours and never complain about her feet. You really don’t need thick socks to go with these but they also work if you have them. Because my child is very girly and she didn’t want boots that were just brown so I was happy to find these boots in such a beautiful pink color.Read more
