I love these socks! Very comfortable. Fits perfectly. I wear a women’s 7.5 and got a medium. There’s room to spare I believe for up to a women’s 9. Customer service is beyond superb!Read more

These are nice and warm socks overall. I have not skied in them yet, but I am a bit surprised at how thick these dare (compare side by side to my other merino ski socks, these are more than twice as thick). Will have to see how they fit in my ski boots.Another thing to keep in mind is that these are about 25% wool and 75% synthetic.Fit is nice, Large fit snugly on my foot (US 10.5 shoe size).Read more

I live in New England, so I’m no stranger to the cold and how to properly dress for winter activities. My normal go to socks have always been the tried and true thick wool pairs, so I was cautious about these given how thin they are in comparison. Boy, was I mistaken.I just had the first substatial snowfall of the season over the weekend and even with my 400g insulated L.L. Bean boots there was a bitter edge after being outside for about an hour. Granted, I wasn’t wearing anything other than standard ankle socks.I just gave this another go with these new socks from AKASO and I’m shocked at how much warmer my feet were. Not to mention how much more comfortable they felt being only slightly thicker than a standard pair of dress socks. I’m extremely impressed and will gladly make these my go to pair from here forward.Sizing seemed about right. I’m a size 9 typically and ordered a large. They fit perfectly fine and I don’t feel like they are oversized when inside a pair of boots.Read more

The most comfortable socks for winter sports or even under boots. The compression is just right and the fit was as described. Some ski socks cut off my circulation because the elastic is too tight and they are thick. These fit just right and are very soft. They aren’t extremely thick which is good so that when you wear your boots they don’t feel tight. Highly recommend.Read more

I wasn’t sure what to expect from these socks. Are they going to live up to the expectations?Well, I’ve worn them twice and my feet stayed warm, dry and comfortable all day long. It’s getting cold here in WI. Both days were just above freezing. I did a lot of yard work, walked the dog, took my motorcycle out for one last ride before storing it and my feet felt great! Lots of cushion and they stayed up! I have size 10 feet and got the “Large” pair. Fit great – not too loose, not too tight. I am really happy with them.Read more

I wear a women’s size 8.5-9 shoe, so I have purchased size Medium socks. These socks fit nicely, from toe to calf. I purchased these socks (ended up buying 2 pairs) to wear with my jump boots—each jump session can last about 30-60 minutes of constant jumping and exercising (high energy, low impact).Like ski boots, these boots are plastic and have bindings. They also tend to push your knees forward into a position of keeping a slight bend at the knees and ankles, at rest. After 15 minutes, this stance and activity requires pretty substantial padding and support around the calf and ankle areas, in order to be free from boot rub/discomfort. Also like ski boots, the socks cannot be too bulky, in order to not impede your activities or overall fit and feel during wear.Additionally, wearing socks during activity can be uncomfortable, if the sock is not made with the proper materials—wool, polyester/synthetics/spandex, cotton, bamboo—they all perform differently. These socks, even though not being worn in the snow (yet/primarily), but rather in a warm/normal/room temperature “exercise” environment, where typically your feet would get uncomfortably sweaty and chafing, still don’t make my feet sweaty or hot.👌🏼These are truly great socks.👌🏼Read more

I bought a brand new pair of these ski socks for an upcoming trip. When I received them they were in a plastic bag that looked repackaged. There were no tags on them and they were detached from each other. I opened and felt them. They feel a little thick right now so I’m hoping they serve me well with another layer but when I put my hands in I found the plastic that did attach them at one point and then I noticed they were pilled all over and had a few pulls in them. They were clearly used or worn and then returned. I didn’t buy gently used or previously purchased. I bought the brand new pair.Read more

It feels a little silly to write a review about a sock but up until recently, I thought all socks were alike. NOT SO! It is really important to have the following attributes: fit, comfort, warmthThis Akaso sock exceeds the criteria. I like a tall knee sock and others that I’ve tried have been too restrictive, compression type socks that make me fight just to put them on. Not these. These socks are supportive but not at all restrictive. They are also very soft which adds to their comfort. And they are warm which is super important in my New Jersey winter climate. Socks that don’t fit well or slouch down, making you have to pull them up constantly make you fatigued. These do not. They are snug without being tight and feel good. I have a size 10 ladies foot and order a Medium which works fine. I wash in cold water and line dry.I highly recommend these socks for anyone looking for warmth and comfort!Read more
