For 14 years I have been replacing the skid shoes on my snow plow (which is attached to the front of my ATV). They were being twisted and broken about every 18 months. I have been purchasing the skid shoes from the ATV dealer. The parts are made and sold by BRP/ Can-Am. I recently learned that the skid shoes are no longer available from BRP/Can-Am, so I searched online for something similar and found these skid shoes on amazon. The shaft diameter and length are critical for being able to install and use any skid shoe on the plow blade. These worked out perfectly and seem to stay in place without the nuts loosening. I use two lock washers on each shaft (which I also did with the BRP/Can-AM skid shoes but those worked themselves loose). The price on these pair of skid shoes is also less then half what the dealer was charging.Read more
