I have never left a review before but I felt I had to for these shoes. They are THAT good.I usually wear an 8 so I ordered and 8 and they were perfect. I wore one pair of regular crew socks and I felt very comfortable with my feet in the shoes.I got these on Friday and put them on Saturday for a 7+ mile hike in the hills of Kentucky. It was rainy and we walked through water several times. I actually had to stand in water for several minutes with my dogs once and my socks were COMPLETELY dry the entire time. They are very light weight and as far as hiking boots go- they are stylish too.I cannot say enough great things about these shoes. I was not expecting that much for that little of money but I will tell everyone I know about these shoes. They are AWESOME!Read more

I was hesitant to buy these after reading the reviews about the creasing and pinching. NONE!! I LOVE my boots. I wear a medium weight sock when I hike and they still fit great. They have so far held up in lakes, deserts, and about to be tested in snow. Would 10/10 recommend if you’re a hiker on a budget or just starting out. Great support for my ankles too!Read more

This is a really attractive and quality shoe however I don’t believe it should be used as intended. There is absolutely no support in the shoes’ footbed. People requiring arch support beware.Read more

Really love these boots. Just tried them out over our camping trip and I’m so used to having to place my feet carefully while wearing my Nikes but I didn’t have to with my boots. I never felt like I wanted to take them off to rest my feet. I wore them all day with no issues.Read more

Love my boots! I got them yesterday wore around house they felt stiff took out on the trail we did 3 miles we hit water mud and I even tripped in a hole. Great support very comfortable. Now they do run narrow I ordered an 8 but if I half sized up they would not fit or could put thicker sock on but summer coming I do t want heavy socks. There is not arch support in them and the lining does not come out to put a different insole in. But I did 3 miles in and it was not bad.Read more

I’ve been looking for some good hiking boots that weren’t pink, purple, or teal but still looked cute, and these were absolutely perfect! I like ankle boots better than shoes, but it’s hard to find ones that are lightweight. These are very light and didn’t even need to be broken in! The first time I wore them was for about a 7 mile hike, and they didn’t hurt my feet at all. I didn’t have to deal with water, so I can’t say if they’re actually waterproof or not. I did scuff them up a little on that first hike, so we’ll see if that affects the waterproof-ness.On this hike I also came within about a foot of a pretty decent sized snake. I fully believe these lightweight boots are what gave me the ability to run away unscathed. Or maybe it was that the snake could barely move in the 45° weather and I was never in danger at all. We’ll never know.I normally wear a 7 in every shoe, but decided to go up to a 7.5 based on the other reviews. I think I could have gotten away with a 7, but the ones I got didn’t feel too big. Plus it will be nice to have room for thicker socks in cold weather.Read more

They fit good. I wear a size 9 on shoes so I decided to stick to that and it is a bit more roomy. I do like that it has the ankle support but after an hour of wearing them my feet are so tired. It’s my third day wearing them so I probably haven’t broken them in completely. Going to put them to the test this weekend when I go hiking and will update the review. I’m going to test if it’s actually water resistant, traction, and if they become more comfortable.Update: after just one hike of 10 miles my feet hate me. It was a rocky ground and lots of dirt, after a while I noticed some got inside the boot and I could feel it every time I took a step. At about 4 miles in I could feel my feet blistering. I usually don’t have a problem with this when I hike with my running shoes. Don’t recommend this shoe for people with flat feet. One good thing is that my feet didn’t get wet when I stepped in water.Read more

First of all, I have an impossible time finding the correct fit in hiking boots. I wear a size 11 in most shoes, so the whole “size up a half size” rule does not apply to me. Women’s shoes are not made in 11.5 for some reason. My only choice is to settle for 11, which destroys my toes on descents, trip over my feet in size 12, or buy men’s hiking boots in 10.5. Obviously, none of these are ideal. I’ve tried Columbia hiking shoes/boots in size 11 before, and they seemed snug, so I took a chance and tried the 12. These run a little narrow, but that’s fine for my feet. The length is perfect. They run a bit small, so the 12 actually fits as if it was 11.5. They are super lightweight and not bulky, so they don’t make my feet look more gigantic than they are. They seem a bit stiff, so I expect a short break-in period. I can’t wait to try these on the trails. I hope they are truly waterproof. I am slightly skeptical of the canvas uppers. The logo patch on the tongues is sewn on completely crooked on both boots, so hopefully that isn’t a sign of overall craftsmanship. To me, it’s not worth exchanging them for something so superficial that no one else will ever notice.Read more
