UPDATE: I’ve been using this for a few weeks, and I love it. It cleans the salt off my dogs’ paws so easily. When it’s super dirty and the streets are covered in salt, I’ll refresh the water supply. I add a few drops of their doggie shampoo, and it works great. Don’t believe the negative reviews. I don’t see how they can possibly not know how to use this gadget. It is so easy to use. And the pictures of the German Shepherds and their mess, I find it impossible that this gadget could possibly create that mess. I guess if they are covered in thick mud, then they have to be hosed down, and this product is not a replacement for a bath.I have four dogs in NYC. I have to wash their feet after every walk because the streets are so filthy. It would take me about 10-15 min to clean their paws with a spray bottle and towel. Now, it takes about 5 minutes. And the towel doesn’t end up filthy. The dirt gets caught in the cup. Plus the dogs seem to like it. The silicone bristles must feel good. A huge thumbs up!UPDATE: Tonight was an exceptionally dirty evening here in NYC. There was a short bit of rain that made the streets filthy. This little gadget made the clean up a breeze! And the dogs love it! Attaching pics and videos.Read more

I use this cleaner after long walks with my dogs, as they love to get dirty. It’s easy to use and does the job well. When the paws dry up I put Paw Shield by Petsupply on them. This paw balm heals and moisturizes dry, creacked paw pads. It also does a very good job when it comes to paw protection. It’s perfect way to take care of you dog’s paws during the winter. Here is the link to Paw Shield: more

Best. Thing. Ever. This product works like a charm. It gets the sand from between their pads, and is gentle enough that even my most stubborn pup tolerates it!I have a terrier/schnauzer that likes to dig, a mini golden doodle that is prissy about her paws and a standard labradoodle puppy that is still very fuzzy. We have a farm where it is extremely sandy and we stay in a travel trailer. The amount of sand they were tracking in to the camper was driving me CRAZY. It takes me three minutes to clean and dry off all of their paws. Seriously the best purchase I have made!I’m adding a photo of my labradoodle pup so you can see the texture of her fur. Imagine it covered in morning dew and damp sand 😖Read more

This thing is great. It works for both dirty water/splattered kind of mud, and the thick stuff that is stuck between the toes. In fact it works really good for the thick stuff because the bristles get in between and scoop it out. You do have to change the water very often; when its really thick, you have to change it before you finish all four paws but it still beats spending ten minutes with three different rags and towels trying to scoop it out.You can see in my video how simple it is, but you’ll notice the sides aren’t quite high enough to get all the way up on my dogs leg. Mainly because she went for a run through a pond and the mud is half way up her leg (but leg cleaning isn’t the point of this washer.) The towel can still get that stuff, but cleaning out the paws is the real trick. When you’re done, the paws are soaked with water and I squeeze them and then dry them with a towel that we keep by the back door.Changing the water is as simple as rinsing it out a couple times and filling it back up. You can screw off the top, remove the bristles, unroll them and clean everything, but I have found that isn’t necessary. It fits together just right so a couple of quick rinses and the dirt all flows out.Read more

I had high hopes for this considering my dog seems to search out anything wet/muddy. I have a Pom so I got the small size. Well I could fit my dogs entire head inside this thing, it is far too big. It was also incredibly awkward trying to use and ended up just making a big mess. And NO, my dogs paws were not clean afterward. I will try a few more times to confrim it’s uselessness.Read more

this is way way too small for my golden doodle – plus you need a bucket with you to keep refilling the supersize drink size cup…I was so hopeful and loved the idea of those rubber tips vs. the brushes of the Paws plunger (which are too soft)…will likely return it…Read more

Didn’t work. Water gets muddy after one foot is dipped. And foot is left very wet. Was actually worse than doing nothing.Read more

It did what it needed to – got the dirt off my dogs paws. So in that sense the product did what it’s supposed to do. 5 stars. The reason for this 1 star review: I don’t think it’s a necessary buy. Between having to change the water for each paw (which means screwing off the cap, dumping out the muck, and pouring more fresh water in) and the general bulk/weight of the thing (it’s sturdy alright – and definitely won’t break on you).. I found myself resorting to easier methods. It’s important to note here that if my dog’s paws are dirty so are her legs and under her chest… and her face… and usually the tail too. So that means she’s getting a full wipe down before coming in the house or getting in the vehicle anyways which renders this thing pretty much useless. We carried it around in our car for 4 weeks thinking it would be the most handy tool. We used it twice and and every time after that resorted to a bottle of water (or a nearby stream/pond/lake/river) and a towel to rinse and dry. It was faster, easier, and it could be done with things that we already carry with us anyways. In my opinion – just another one of those products that are meant to make things more convenient but end up being more trouble than they’re worth.Read more
