Before you buy these, consider snow shoes that have back brackets (heel lifts) that most snow shoes should have to assist with incline climbing. Otherwise you will likely develop blisters and the trek up a hill will be considerably slower. I didn’t realize this brand did not include them in the design as I assumed all models had them. Otherwise, the snow shoes are exactly as promised though the red paint scratched off after just one use.Read more

I was excited to try these. As soon as I received, went out to try in 12 degree F temperature. Very disappointed as the plastic bindings were so cold they barely moved and I feared they would break. I struggled to get out of the binding and realized these were not the best choice for colder temps in northern MN. I am returning.Read more

I bought these wanting snowshoes and hiking poles for use on vacation in Norway. These were the first snowshoes I’ve bought and I did my research on Amazon – the price looked great and avg rating good enough. Even when I received them, I thought they might be a great deal and perform as expected. Well, on my first hike, one of the buckles broke. Plastic and metal rivet + spring just came apart. Pole bent when I slipped and needed to use it to brace myself – in other words, using it for exactly the circumstance you’d most need it. The metal was so flimsy I could easily bend it back into place. I did, only for it to break in half (literally, metal folded and snapped in half) on my second hike.Giving 2 stars rather than 1 because these may work for children or small adults who may rarely if ever use these, and use them for nothing more than a neighborhood walk before the snow is plowed on the street. In that case, these may last a bit longer and be the right value. Otherwise, this defines ‘you get what you pay for’ unfortunately.Read more

These snowshoes are great! I bought them for myself. Easy to strap on and great for maneuverability and the shoes themselves are durable. On other snowshoes that I have had, getting turned around has always been a problem. With these it is not. I am very pleased.Read more

This snowshoe set is perfect for me! I am new at snowshoeing, and this set is fabulous, just right for a beginner. All of the gear worked very well in the snow. The shoes are just right , not too wide and not to long. I was looking for shoes that would allow me to maneuver around the track in the park, and it was a great first workout! And having the poles allowed a great upper body workout as well! The poles are adjustable at the top and bottom for a variety of heights. Having the gaiters really did keep the snow out of my boots and pants and was a nice bonus in this package. A lot of sets I looked at did not include them and were more money. The carrying bag is also a nice bonus! Not only does it have straps to carry the gear by hand, but there are straps to carry the gear on your back as well. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.Read more

Flashtec made good on these snowshoes by shipping me another pair immediately after I posted my first review. The snowshoes work great for my use. I must have just gotten a pair that had that one flaw which happens with everything. They strap on easily and also easy to remove when you are done. Also, I would like to give kudo’s to Flashtek for their immediately handling the problem as they did.Read more

Gorgeous snow shoes. I like that it came with poles. No need to purchase the poles separately. Both shoes and poles are easy to use. Although this is the first time I’ve used snow shoes I had no problems putting them on and using them. They also had a very good instructional video. I found the shoes to be very comfortable to walk with on a 8 mile hike on a layer of new snowfall that we just got. I really enjoyed using them and cannot wait to go out with them again. I highly recommend them to everyone.Read more

I’ve gone snowshoeing three times so far and I like these shoes. Very easy on and off. They don’t loosen up after walking a while. Not too heavy for walking. Great pair of snowshoes for the price.Read more
