Honestly I didn’t expect much. Yet, I was extremely surprised. Ultra surprised. The kind of surprised that I would almost start a Youtube channel just to post a video about the computer surprised. Lets start step by step. It came on time, 2 day Amazon Prime shipping, check. The packaging? I’d actually be kind of amazed if something would of happened to the computer, extremely protective packaging, a big box, then lots of protective paper on the inside sorrounding another box, and inside that box, this air chamber panel buffer case sorrounding the computer, computer safe, check.Extra: mouse and keyboard, already had my own but it’s really nice of them to spend a spare just in case.Included: Power plug.Included: Operating system. Really? Yup. Windows 10 with upgrade.Performance: Outstanding. Might not have the newst specs, a wi fi card, a massive shard drive storage, killer graphics video card, etc. But you’d be extremely surprised how well this computer performs. Which is no big deal, ethernet card is great, and the 256 storage is more than enough especially living in a world where most things are on the cloud anyways. Their is nothing bad I can say about this computer in any sense. Even comparing it to more updated models.Awesome extra: I hadn’t connected the speakers yet, but when Windows turned on I heard a chime kind of sound. Would you beleive it, the computer actually came with a built in speaker, okay okay, it’s not great by any means, but it’s a speaker, and to me that was really kind of cool.Finishing up with this, this company I bought from, is great. I mean really great, makes me want to scour through all their inventory of compuers and laptops even though I don’t need one right now, and tell my friends about it kind of great.Read more

I bought this computer about a month ago. If it continues to be reliable, I will be very satisfied with it. I have mostly used macs in the past, except at work where everything runs on Windows 7, so I knew that there would be an adjustment to navigating and controlling a windows 10 PC. It has gone as well as I could have hoped. The system looked like new except that there were two open card ports on the back when it arrived. On a new system these would be covered by a metal plate. This is a minor thing, and actually will make it easier when I get around to installing a sound card upgrade. The BIGGEST COMPLAINT I have with this is that the only way to register the windows is using a key code that is ONLY available on a sticker afixed to the outside of the housing. Mine was SMUDGED a bit, so I had to do some creative guessing. If I had not been lucky with that I would NEVER have been able to effectively use the installed version of Windows 10. I STRONGLY urge the refurbishers to find a more reliable way of providing this essential information to their buyers. Perhaps a rectangle of plastic taped over the sticker before handling and packing to ship them? This issue is the only reason I took two stars away. Otherwise you would have gotten five stars.Read more

Computer came with a non certified version of windows. It won’t update or work at all. Tried to verify the product key and it says I need the correct operating system. Wth?! I guess you get what you pay for. I will be sending this back for a refund. Not at all Microsoft certified refurbished.Read more

I got this to replace a 20-year old Windows XP processor that just had the power supply pop. The box arrived with some bumps and bruises, but no obvious breaches. The packing was less than adequate for a product such as this. Typically, in new processors, the packing is Styrofoam packed so that no movement can happen in shipping, but this was packed in some stiff bubble wrap that appeared to allow the processor to bounce around a bit. Can’t tell if the damage happened before orduring shipping, but the optical drive plastic was cracked and the mounting bracket for it was either missing a part or got whacked in transit. Also, the back panel was bent a bit, as if someone pried it open. Not a big deal as I was able to piece together the optical drive parts and the mounting bracket which resulted in a functional drive, and used some pliers to bend the back panel back in shape. The unit came with a keyboard and mouse which I neither expected nor needed. Also, there was no built-in wi-fi and came with a USB wi-fi adapter, but the software mini-cd it came with was smashed, either in transit or when packed, who knows. I was unable to find a driver for the USB wi-fi adapter it came with, so I ended up using the old one I had installed on the original. Again, not a big deal, but for someone who expects this thing to work perfectly when they power it on, it might be a deal-breaker.The important thing was that, despite the optical drive and wi-fi issues, the CPU, motherboard, power supply, hard disk drive, and installed software all worked fine. And, for 85 bucks, it was a big improvement over my 20-year old Windows XP machine.I’ll add an update later if there any issues down the line.EDIT: (2/7/2020) I have used this now for 6 months, just about every day, and it has been powered on and running for a good 12 hours each day. I have had absolutely no problems with it. It boots up fine every day and I have never had it hang up or freeze. Not bad for $85.Read more

I purchased this computer for a friend who is a senior citizen who had a computer recently die. She got the computer and had the cable company hook everything up, but it doesn’t work. The fan is ridiculously loud and you get the blue screen of death. The computer is so loud that you can hear it from outside her apartment. I requested to do a return but the seller never emailed me a return label. My elderly friend contacted the company but she received poor service and she was told that a man would call her by 2pm and he never called. This company should not be allowed to sell products on Amazon and hopefully I dont get ripped off.Read more
