Look… I really dunno what these other reviewers are talking about “not being full-zip.” Maybe they got early or pre-production models. I just received mine today and IT IS full zip. Meaning: I can separate them completely into front and rear halves. There are two Velcro tabs on the top of each side/waist to help you get your pants on.They are well insulated and water-resistant (haven’t tested long water exposure yet). I am 6’00” at 195 lbs. 33/34 waist and 32/33 inseam. I ordered the Large and they fit over my work jeans perfectly. Perfectly snug with just the right amount of wiggle room. They come down to about an inch off the ground with my boots on which again, is perfect for me. I just wish they had other color options. Too much clothing and mil-spec accessories are available only in black. Oh well. Minor complaint.Read more

As others have stated, the zippers appear to be the only weakness. Two problems with them:1) If you’re not careful (or in a hurry), it’s prone to catching and getting stuck on the fabric. After a few occurrences, I’ve learned to align the seams and use your finger to guide the path. Fortunately, I’ve been careful and patient enough to stop as soon as it gets caught and able to back out without permanent damage; nonetheless, I can appreciate the negative reviews regarding the zippers.2) The zipper construction/quality is fair at best. They appear to be made for light duty/applications (i.e. small and cheap feel). The concern is more for durability of repeated use – not necessarily whether they’ll keep the seems together.Other than that, I did have the buttons unsnap with some load, but has not been a problem.Positives:1) Very warm and water replellant2) Great value for the price3) Functionality/convenience of quick on/offOverall, excellent value!Read more

Not quite what I was hoping for. These are not full zip as advertised. They will zip up to the belt line so you still have to pull your shoes through the top of the waist. I wanted to be able to take them off without getting them dirty. At least I don’t have to take my shoes off. As far as quality, only time will tell but they seem ok.Read more

I ordered a large and it fits a bit large on me. I’ve got a 34 waist and 30 inseam and this thing is baggy. I actually am using it on a motorcycle, since motorcycle pants are pretty expensive. I took them on an extensive ride and the pants performed pretty well in chilly air that got to about 45 degrees at night here in California. I’m thinking these pants will do pretty well as it get colder, so I’ll report back when the weather turns colder in a few months. In any event, the zipper on the right side got loose as I was riding, but I’m planning on sewing some velcro fasteners to shore up the bottoms of the legs so they don’t flap as much as I’m riding, and to keep the pants from dragging on the ground when I’m off the moto.UPDATE, 1/2/2016: Happy new year, e’rrbody! Anyhow, I’ve had quite a few cold California nights using the pants and it did pretty well. One night, it was 40F, so imagine the wind chill factor as I rode for a solid 2 hours travel time on the freeway from a gig. The pants kept me from getting cold for about an hour, then the cold finally seeped in, and my legs needed warmth when I got home. I didn’t expect the pants to stave off the chill permanently, but it did allow me to acclimate nicely, which, to me, is better than nothing at all. I did sew velcro to the bottoms and that helped the bottoms from dragging, but it’s still a bit too baggy and I regret that I should have gotten the mediums. Overall, still a good buy.I’ve also gotten some heated pants liners, and that seems to have helped a bit, and I road tested them. They helped only a little, but really not much. Yet, they’re also nice and thin, so it didn’t add to the bulk. The combination of the pants liners and snow pants is excellent for the price (less than $55 together).Read more

These pants do the job, maybe a little to much insulation. I wanted more of a wind and water/snow resistant pants to fit over my regular clothes while blowing snow off of drive and walkways. Zippers seem durable and work well for easy on and off over boots. There is only about 2 inches of extra stretch in the elastic back.I wear size 44 pants and ordered the 3xl size. It is just so the waist fits over the top of my winter clothes. I wear a 30 inch inseam and these drag on he ground behind my heels. Great if you are sitting on a snow machine buy may not lost of walking on sidewalks or streets. Time will tell, but I will only wear them for blowing snow or ice fishing. They are what I would call a medium weight snow pants, Well insulated and built for the price range. They are not heavy duty like some snow machine pants, but for the price are hard to beat.Read more

I wear a 34×34 pants size, and got the Medium which claims to fit a 32-34” waist. These fit okay walking around, but when I bend at the waist skiing down, the buttons pop and Velcro comes undone. No adjustability in the waist like I’ve seen on other pants, and adding 4” to move up to the next size means I’ll be swimming in these. Thankfully they have belt loops though, so I’ll wear them with a black tactical-style belt next time. Another inch of Velcro sewn on would also solve the issue.Other than that though, these work great and I’m happy with them. The regular length (32”) wasn’t an issue since I’m wearing them with boots anyways.Read more
