I bought these for my mom for her recent trip to Iceland. When I asked her how they held up for her she said they were absolutely perfect and she was so happy with them. They are not meant to be warm, just meant to keep you dry and they did their job. She wishes they came in more color options as she felt like her outfits lacked color but she didn’t mind because she wore these through blizzard like conditions and was perfectly dry. They fit true to size and can be adjusted for a better fit. Based off her recommendation, if I ever needed a pair, I would definitely purchase these or myself.Read more

Ordered these for an upcoming trip to Scotland and Iceland. I’m normally a size 20, but after reading reviews about tight in the seat, ordered up a size to a 3 X. They are big, but I like the fact that I can pull these on easily over a pair of jeans and they still fit. Legs are nice and roomy. I do think a 2x might have been tight in the rear. Like that the velcro closures at the bottom can be adjusted, but make them easy to pull on quickly over boots. Draw string waist is nice, but wish it had a toggle to tighten more easily.Read more

I bought the 1X. I am 5’6” 190 lbs. the waist and rear fit well over my street clothes. The legs and leg opening are huge. The length is a little long but should be okay. There is a Velcro on the leg opening to make them smaller. That should make it so boots won’t need to be taken off to remove pants. Water runs right off. They are not pretty but are inexpensive and will keep me dry during my trip to Iceland. EDIT. Just wanted to add that these pants were perfect for winter in Iceland. I stayed dry and warm. I wore these with thermals and leggings. I was able to take them off without removing my boots.Read more

I bought these for an upcoming trip to Antarctica – I need two pairs of waterproof outer pants and I bought one pair of these to try. I agree with previous reviewers that these are a little snug in the hips and bum region. They have a light mesh lining inside that seems to add to durability and a bit of warmth. Be aware these are not insulated, so if you’re going to be in a cold environment you’ll need additional layers.I’ll update my review once I’ve used them in Antarctica.Read more

These pants worked like a charm! I purchased them for a trip to Iceland and they are most definitely waterproof! We walked behind waterfalls and stayed totally dry underneath. I would’ve been soaked otherwise! I’m 5’4” and 200lbs and I ordered a 1X. They are a little tight in the seat, but still not uncomfortable. They could be a little shorter, but they do have velcro on the bottom to tighten it up and with my hiking boots it kept them from dragging. In 40F-50F weather with high winds I wore just fleece leggings underneath and I was good to go. I’d say any colder though you might need a third layer underneath. I did try them on over another layer just to see if they’d have fit okay and it would’ve been fine, but I didn’t need to as we had wonderful weather on our trip.Read more

This was a wonderful product for the short time I wore it. Wore it white water rafting. Kept me dry and was light weight and kept me a perfect temperature on the water. Unfortunately, I fell in to a Class 3 rapid. In my washing machine twisting and turning down the rapids, I lost these pants. I had some swim bottoms on, but they were half pulled off by the time I made it to another raft waiting in an eddy for me…. so everyone got to see at least half of my butt as I was pulled into the raft. Really wish that I still had my waterproof pants on. If anyone finds them on the Arkansas River between Buena Vista, Colorado and the State of Arkansas, I would love them back. Not sure if I’m ever going rafting again.Read more

These pants would be perfect for the plus size woman with no butt or hips. However if you are like most plus size women you do have a butt and hips……. so these are not true to size. Order a size up and be ok with the legs being gigantic and hope your butt fits well enough you can sit in them. Rediculous sizing.Read more

Definitely size up if you have a large hip-to-waist ratio! I sized up from my normal athletic pants size (which is a size up from my street pant size) and there’s gobs of room in the waist and thighs (and I have muscular thighs) – but the hip/butt area is still tight and doesn’t allow full range of motion comfortably. Still, this is the best of the not-great options I’ve found for rain pants to accommodate large hip-to-waist ratios. Someone needs to make rain pants for curvy-shaped women!Read more
