Short review:These boots are the most comfy and robust shoes I’ve ever owned. Quality is hard to come by these days and these boots really impressed me.Longer review:First off I want to say that I’m extremely picky when it comes to shoes. I probably went through a dozen different shoes in two years looking for a comfortable boot that could pass as an everyday dress boot. Every other pair I owned was too narrow, smelly (weird “leather” smell), fragile, stiff, or wasn’t high enough despite the claims from various manufacturers. It didn’t take me long to figure out that the most comfortable shoes are the ones that can be used by diabetics. Anyways, I’ve had these for a little over a year and they seriously have almost no wear and tear on them and I live in a relatively harsh area. I mean the soles still look fresh and their isn’t any tearing on the inside yet which blows my mind. As soon as you put on these boots you notice how ridiculously comfortable they are (disclosure: I do use different insoles than what comes with these boots). The padding around the interior and ankle make it feel like you are wearing clouds on your feet. Plus I like that they give you the option to get very wide boots which really are wide. Quality is hard to come by these days and these boots really impressed me as you can probably tell.Read more

I have a 3/4″ lift on my right let because of a leg length difference. I finally resigned myself to wearing mostly boots for this reason. I usually buy Alden black boots, which are expensive and great, but I decided to give these a try after a recommendation from the guy who makes my inserts.Besides being a tiny bit ‘special’ looking, they are amazingly comfortable. They are passable with business-casual attire. I worked all day on my feet to find that I had no discomfort what so ever with my feet, knees, hips or back. Initially they felt too comfortable, and I that is why I feared that they might not give enough support. But after wearing them for around a week without any pain I am convinced that these are supportive shoes. I work on a hard floor all day, running around, and no problems. They don’t feel like boots. They feel like extremely comfortable yet supportive sneakers. I paid a great price for them. The leather is not great quality, but it looks like it might hold up well. The leather doesn’t look like the type of leather that would be polished.Steele shank is a plus- more support with a longer lasting shoe.I see myself buying many more pairs of drew shoes.Read more

I wear these boots 9 hours a day while I landscape and they are comfortable and light. I do wear an orthotic so I can’t speak about the foot pad inside, but I will buy these again.Read more

My feet are actually size 6 6E so these fit fairly well . Came with a good foot pad fair arch support. I wish the lace holes were better reinforced. All in all I would recommend them for an around the city walking boot.Read more

The Shoe/boot is really comfortable. I chose it because I wear an orthodic and this boot has two removable insoles. I removed the top insole inserted the orthodic and TA DA! the boot is ready to wear. My only nit about the boot is they put shoestrings twice as long as are needed. I had to change them out because even when tied, they drug on the floor. Only other wish is that they came in brown.Read more
