I bought these to wear around the property cleaning after animals/horses. I bought a cheaper pair of rubber boots and they lasted less than two months. I wanted a good pair but didn’t want to spend over $100. Luckily my feet are small enough to fit in a kids size. I wish these boots were taller, but I recognize that they are made for kids so they are shorter. The toe area is fairly wide and bulky which isn’t my favorite, but for how sturdy and high quality these are I can live with it. They are very comfortable and easy to get on and off. I wouldn’t say they are lightweight, but they aren’t too terribly heavy that they make walking burdensome. These boots are also very warm so they do live up to their claims as snow boots. I plan on using them year round to muck stalls. we have hot summers so I just hope they don’t stay too warm.Overall I’m happy that I found a good quality boot for cheaper than the adult sizes- so if you’re a woman who wears a size 8 or smaller this allows you more buying options!Read more

Best rain boots I have purchased for my kids. In the past, I have purchased Crocs rain boots (very lightweight, lots of color options, not insulated) and Hunter rain boots (excellent soles/grips, well made, high quality, great colors, not insulated). However, these Bogs were insulated, excellent soles/grips, sturdy and fabulous. I feel very comfortable knowing that my children will be warm and safe during rainy day play. FYI, the product runs small. My 4yo recently wears size 10 and I purchased a size 11.Read more

We love bogs in our household as we have found them to hold up really well around the barn and just out in the cold snow, and wet. I purchased a pair for my son size 1 who likes to have a pair of boots that are easy to get on and off at 6 yrs old and are still flexible in the sole. These boots will be his second pair as he outgrew and wore his others out because that was all he would wear. I have a very small foot and wear a size for and these fit perfect! I tired a women’s 5 but, they were to big even with thicker socks. These boots fit the bill just right and work well for those that have high arches and wider feet. These boots hold up well with a lot of wear and tear on them through the winter months and sometimes into summer. We ride horses Wyoming winters and they do great!Read more

This is the second pair I have ordered and will be returning them for the same issue as the first. Out of the both pairs have white splotches on them. I called Bogs this morning and they told me that the boots should not have a “bloom” on them. I have an older pair of Hunter boots that need to be wiped down to prevent this from happening, but this should not be a step I need to take with brand new boots. Needless to say my son was bummed he couldn’t wear his new rain boots.Read more

These have a shorter shaft than tall Bogs from previous years. Not sure why, and I’m disappointed by this redesign. The proportions just don’t look right when worn, plus shorter is an issue in the snow. The new Bogs also had weird splotches all over them, right out of the box. Quality control must have gone south at this company. Not sure I’d buy again.Read more

I’ve always wondered why Bogs boots were so expensive. Now I know after getting a pair for one of the kids. These are a quality and great fitting cold-weather boot. The fit is true to size and the foot slides right in. The foot is secure in the boot and the top of the boot comes mid-calf. This is high enough to keep water and snow out but low enough to easily walk. The bottom of the boot has good traction. They also keep the foot warm and dry. These Bogs could be the perfect kids boot, albeit expensive. Go with these if you don’t mind paying a premium. Otherwise Western Chief boots are comparable kids boots at a cheaper price.Read more

There is something wrong with these boots. I don’t know what it is, but these boots do not fit like any other Bogs we’ve ever bought. Both my kids have worn Bogs for years, so I usually buy at least 2 pairs a season. I booth this pair just before Christmas and every single time my son wears them he complains. They are harder & tighter than any other pair we’ve ever bought. It’s pretty disappointing & I have no idea what the issue is, but these have to go into the donate pile bc neither of my kids can wear them. Complete waste of money.Read more

My four year old constantly complained about cold feet in his old winter boots and his socks were constantly damp because snow would get in the top. The last straw was after a morning of outside activities, under his snow pants he was soaked from toe to waist, the water wicked up his long johns. These boots are super tall and the water and snow NEVER gets in. Plus, they slip on so easy. Plus, they’re rate down to minus 30. Best boots for a kid.We are customers for life.Read more
